Tandem Sound
Tandem Sound is a full service audio boutique located near Union Square in downtown Manhattan which originally opened its doors in 2002 as an audio for video house specializing in independent feature films. It features a surround sound mixing suite, complete with projection. The location is unbeatable; right in the heart of New York’s independent film community. It didn’t take long before the studio’s owner, Sound Designer/Re-Recording Mixer Eric Offin built a remarkably efficient network of film producers, commercial directors, and just about anyone else looking to add a sparkle to their visual creations.

“With uninflected realism, an attentive camera and no weeping strings, Ms. Reichardt makes palpably, tragically real what it means to be struggling at the very edge of the economic abyss. WENDY AND LUCY is political to the bone but without any of the usual grandstanding.”

"I don't know if I've ever seen a movie that goes so deeply into the world of childhood - into the emotions and perceptions and into the way that children - even very young children - find ways to deal with difficulties and hardships."

You Won’t Miss Me:
Sound Design & Re-Recording Mix

“The Best of Sundance ‘09″
“You Won’t Miss Me” From the ultra-indie underbelly comes young New York director Ry Russo-Young’s semi-improvised feature, a wrenching and beautifully shot character study of a charismatic but almost unbearably narcissistic young woman struggling with some undefined personal meltdown. With its aggressive, tour-de-force performance by Stella Schnabel (Julian Schnabel’s daughter), its deliberately ambiguous structure and its memorable compositions, “You Won’t Miss Me” is not aiming to be widely liked. But it’s a vast leap forward from Russo-Young’s debut, “Orphans,” and confirms that she’s an uncompromising, individual voice who demands to be taken seriously.

Don’t Let Me Drown:
Sound Design & Re-Recording Mix

"Don't Let Me Drown" is one of the best film portraits yet of New York City in the aftermath of 9/11, where a city and its people cope with collective post-traumatic stress...Angeles, who wrote the script with producer Maria Topete, misses no steps. The ambiance of both the street and home lives of these characters rings true, the rawness of the impact of 9/11 on everyone is palpable and their sorrow and anxiety is never overplayed. Sundance has again given us new talent to watch."
